Story:
Hi, if you don’t know me my name is Orion. I’m just your average anime fan. I’m a senior in my high school, but everyone treats like a freshman. Because of my love of anime I’m pretty much an outcast in my school. I do have my own anime club, but I only have one member. He’s really obnoxious, but he kind of reminds me of myself. Every day I pass the city bridge to get home. The highlight of my day is at 6 o’clock they give my favorite anime show called Kaisen Tameni Kikunogomon/ Battle for the Imperial Chrysanthemum Emblem. I have a crush on one of the characters in the show her name is Naishinnou Misora who is the emperor’s daughter. I obviously don’t have a chance with her because she’s animated and if she was real she still has a boyfriend named Hajime, but that doesn’t stop me from dreaming. It’s like this almost every day, but today was very different; you could say it would change my life forever.
Today when I woke up, it seemed like any other day, but when I looked at the clock it was 7:50 and school started at 8:00. I put on any old thing that I had laying around and I was gone like the wind. Just as I was leaving it started to rain heavily, but it was already 7:56 and today was the finals and I couldn’t be late. I had to run, but I was in bad physical shape, my side started to hurt. As I kept on running, my sides started to hurt more and more. As I felt like I was about to faint I saw the gates of the school. I went dashing to my first class, but I was too late: the bell rung. I entered the classroom as quietly as possible, but the teacher noticed me by my shirt. “So being late wasn’t enough, you had to put on a shirt with pornographic imagery on it” as I look down at my shirt to see what was all the fuss about, and to my surprise I accidentally put on my roommate’s favorite hentai shirt. So the teacher told me “Well by school regulations I can’t let you in, but I’ll make an exception. Since today are the finals, you can stay only if you put on this Hello Kitty® shirt which fortunately for you is pink”. I look at the teacher with an expression of anger, but like he said the finals are today so I put the shirt on. Obviously everyone laughed and beat me up. As I was putting my books in my locker I saw a spare shirt, so at lease I can walk home with dignity.
As I thought things couldn’t get any worse I hear some guy screaming “Hey there’s the punk that scratched my car” and when I turn my head there’s a group of guys with bats and chains. I took the first bike I saw and got out of there. The only thing I do was peddle like crazy. Every time I looked back they got closer and closer to me, until I suddenly lost them on the bridge. When I looked in front of me there was a truck. The only logical thing for me to do was to swerve to the left, but I lost control and fell of the bridge. The only thing I could think of was that I’ll never see the ending of my favorite show. After that I hit the water with tremendous force……… “Am I dead?” I asked myself, and then I heard a strangely familiar voice humming a beautiful melody. As I open my eyes I see a beautiful yet familiar girl. “So you’re finally awake. I was worried that you wouldn’t be able to move after that fall” she said with relief and concern. “You’re Naishinnou Misora aren’t you” I said with great excitement “Yes, I’m the emperor’s daughter”. “So what are you doing way out here?” I asked. “Hajime My soon-to-be wed husband came to the dark forest because of an urgent message he received from the imperial army. I came here to convince him to come back” she said with great concern. Even though I was going to regret it later on, I told her that I was going to do all that I can to help her. She looked so happy when I said those words.
As we were walking Naishinnou ask me were I was from. I told her that I was form another world and that I don’t know how I came here or why and so on, and so forth… “It must be hard leaving the people you love behind” she said with a feeling of empathy. “I don’t have any friends or loved ones” after I said that she looked serious for a moment and then with a smile on her face she said “don’t worry I’ll be your friend”. “Thanks that really means a lot to me.” She looked back at me and smiled. After a while she stopped and said “Do you hear that?” “Hear what” I replied. “That’s Hajime! Wait hear Ok” after she said that she started running towards him. A few moments later I heard a scream. “Naishinnou” I yell as I was going towards the battle field. When I finally get there I see someone that looks like Hajime being decapitated by a solder from the opposing side. I looked to my left and there was Naishinnou, but she was in a state of shock. “Naishinnou, come on we have to get out of” but before I could finish talking out of no ware one of the solders push me to the side and raised his sword to attack her. As soon as I fell on the floor I got the first thing I could find and hit him on the head. “Hey that wasn’t so hard” but my celebration was cut short when the guards spotted me. I took Naishinnou and ran. As I looked back there was a legion of solders on horses chasing me and they keep shouting, “Don’t let him get away”…… Gee, doesn’t this sound familiar only instead of getting chased by a group of dumb asses I’m getting chased by a legion of dumb asses. Sarcasm aside, I found myself at the edge of a cliff. “I can ether get slaughtered by these morons, or die by jumping of a cliff.” As I saw them coming even closer I said “Screw This” and jumped of the cliff.

I’m just screwing around with you. As I was falling I saw a branch sticking out of the Cliffside so I grabbed it. Even though it broke we still landed safely inside the river. When we got out of the river I looked at Naishinnou and asked her “Are you okay?” “My head hurts a little, but I’ll be okay”. “I think we should go back to the emperor’s palace and tell him what happened” I said in a serious tone. As we were walking I ask her why are they fighting for the imperial emblem. “The imperial chrysanthemum emblem was forged as a sign of dominance and prosperity over this region. Whoever posses it is named emperor and has control over all, by law. Since the jewel was taken by Da-ku my father has lost everything. Only a small number of people where not enslaved, and those few are being persecuted. To defend those few Hajime and the other brave souls went to Da-ku’s fortress to bring back the emblem and stop Da-ku’s evil rain”. “So that’s why Da-ku was always after that damn emblem” I said to myself.
“Hey there’s the palace” I shouted. “That’s not where we live” she sadly told me. After walking about half an hour I saw an abounded village. “Here we are” told me. In the middle of the town was the emperor’s secret bunker which was big enough for a military training camp. As I walked in two guards took there spears and pointed them towards my neck. “Who are you, what did you come here for?” obviously I was craping in my pants when they said that. “Wait! He’s with me” Naishinnou yelled. “Princess Misora!” as soon as they let me go I heard a strong voice say “Naishinnou has returned?” as I looked to see where the voice was coming from I saw the emperor walking towards me and asked me “Who are you?” “My name is Orion, sir” I replied. “And who brought you here” as soon as I was about to answer Naishinnou told him that she brought me here and explain what happened. “So of all the men I send none of them came alive?” he ask “Unfortunately, not even Hajime”. After she said that he went to his throne and pondered on what was going to be his next move. After awhile he called one of his most trusted guards and said “Forget about the enslaved, for now our only importance is agriculture and military defensive strategy. Anyone over the age of 8 and is not work to our society will ether become a solder or be exiled.” After he gave his orders I saw Naishinnou marching towards her father. “How could you give an order like that without consulting with the people” she said angrily, “I’m doing this for there protection” he said firmly, “To protect who, if you gave the order to exile all those who cannot work because of impediment or disease”. “If they stay our limited recourses will run out and there won’t be enough food for those who work in our society.” “And why haven’t you exiled me? I don’t give anything to this society”. “Because, you will be the successor to the throne”. “I don’t want to be the successor of someone coldhearted as you”. “If you feel that way why don’t leave”. “I will”. After having that discussion Naishinnou stormed out of the bunker. A few minutes later I heard an ear shattering scream. “Naishinnou” I yelled from the top of my lungs, but when I got there I saw a man with a dark cape on top of a white horse and he had an unconscious Naishinnou in his arms. “Tell the emperor that if he wants to see princess Misora again he must come to Da- ku’s fortress and swear his ligancy, if not princess Misora and those that have been captured will die”. After saying that a dark fog arose and he disappeared.
“Princess Misora has been kidnapped! She was taken by a man in a black cape said that if you want to see Naishinnou again you must swear you ligancy to him” I said with great worry. “I can’t compromise the safety of my people” he told me. “Well, if you’re not going I’m going” I said, even though I was a scrawny weakling. “I’m going too” one of the guards said “Me too” one of the solder said. “You are willing to risk your lives for her?” he told us, “Tell my people that I’m leaving and I might not come back. Until I comeback you are in charge” he told his most trusted guard. “We ride at dawn”. Next morning we each took a horse, but I ended up sharing a horse because I kept falling of. When we finally got the emperor said “You two stay here I’m going to create a distraction. As the emperor went towards Da-ku’s fortress, we went though the backdoor. When we opened the door there was an endless number of guards. “Go with Orion, I’ll take care of these guys” the solder told me. As we entered the room the guard told me “Get down!” and threw to the ground. I looked inside the room I saw Da-ku talking to the emperor. “There’s another door in the guest bathroom go in there and untie the princess, if anything goes wrong I’ll be here” the guard told me. After he said that I went running towards the bathroom and I saw one of the guards was washing his hands. So I knocked him out and put his close on in an attempt to blend in. I opened the door slightly to see how I can get in without getting detected. While Da-ku’s back was turned I rushed towards Naishinnou and started to cut the ropes behind her. Suddenly he looked at me and said “You, bring princess Misora here”. When I went towards him he said “You’re that boy from the village” and then out of nowhere the emperor’s guard jumped in and started to fight Da-ku. “Take princess Misora and get out of” but before he could finish Da-ku slice him in half. “You planed this didn’t you?” Da-ku asked “Yes, but it seems now I’ll have to kill you myself” the emperor said while drawing his sword. “Take her and leave” after he said that I ran towards the exit. “You’re not getting away that easily” Da-ku yelled furiously. I don’t know how, but he closed all the doors with just raising his hand. When I tried to open the door it was locked. “NOW YOU DIE!” he said before charging towards me. When I saw him charging towards me I could see my life flashing before my eyes… it was pretty boring. “You have to get past me first” the emperor said before attacking him, but just before he was about to swing his sword Da-ku stabbed him in the stomach. Somehow that made me so angry took the emperor’s sword and started charging towards Da-ku. As I was charging towards him I said “YOU’RE RAIN OF TERROR ENDS HERE”. Even though I didn’t kill him I injured his arm, “You pest” he said after he threw me to the ground. Just as he was about to deliver the final blow Naishinnou stabbed him in the back. “Father!” she yelled as she saw him lying on the ground. “Naishinnou come here” he said mustering his strength. “I’m sorry for the argument we had” Naishinnou said to him, “There’s something I want to tell you. I want you to free all the enslaved and tell them that I am sorry for abandoning them. And also I’m sorry for abandoning you… please send this message to… the… people………” those where his last words.
“Come on lets go” the solder told us. As we were going to free the enslaved the solder asked “Where’s the emperor”. “He’s dead; he was killed by Da-ku”. We got back to the bunker and brought everyone back and told them the good news everyone was happy, and then we had to tell them about what happened to the emperor. We all felt bad, but we had to go on. Three months later we had already rebuild the city and so this wouldn’t happen again we destroyed the emblem. As I looked at all that I have accomplished in this time that I have been here and then I heard Naishinnou say these words “you know, that after I lost Hajime I felt destroyed, but being beside you makes me feel like Hajime never left, I glad you came into my life and I don’t know what I’d do if you left”. After I heared those words I felt like could die right there and not care, but suddenly I saw this white light getting brighter and brighter. “Hey I wasn’t serious when I said that I can die and not care” I said to myself. Suddenly I found myself in a hospital. A few minuets later a nurse comes in and says “so you’re awake; you’ve been in a coma for about three months”. “Three months that’s about how much time I was……” I said to myself. “Did anyone come to visit me” I asked her, “Just one, some kid”. So after I got out of the hospital I visited him and ask him if he recorded all the episodes of the show while I was in a coma. “Ya, I did. Do you want to see them right now?” he asked me. “Ya, I think I will”. As I watched each episode they where exactly the same as when I was in a coma. Then I thought about what Naishinnou said to me. So I went to my apartment and started to think if what happened was real or not, and then my roommate yelled “Hey, there’s some girl at the door”. “That’s weird” I said to myself. As I opened the door to my surprise it was Naishinnou. “When I said I don’t what I was going to do if you left, I meant it” she said to me. “How did you get here?” I asked. “A better question is how did you get a hotty like her?” my roommate ask. “That’s not important, what is important is that I’m with you”. And that’s how my life changed forever.

Comments: I’m sure you’re tiered after reading all of that. If you know Japanese you must have been laughing of how stupid the names are. This is the first moc contest and I like the past moc’s but I never really had the chance to participate in one. Well I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed making it.
