Character's Story:
Hi, my name is Toshiro, I am an 18 year old male, currently studying at university. I am quite academic, but I do enjoy some sports, but mostly martial arts, though I wont say no to a game of basketball with my friends. My real love is drawing and computers, and when I'm older I want to use both of these skills together to become a game designer. I have four close friends, one of which is my friend Aiko, who has always had a tendency to call me Toshi-chan, which used to be quite embarrassing, but she's been calling me it since we were about 7, so I've become used to it, as have our other friends.I have a younger sister called Kay, who still lives with our parents. I don't, I moved out recently, and have my own apartment near my university which I share with some of my friends. To pay for this, and most importantly my internet bill I have various part time jobs that I do.

See I'm just a normal guy, right? Wrong, there is one thing;I have a great liking for apple juice. Most people wouldn't think twice about this. True most people have a favourite drink, or food that they have all the time, but not like I do. The thing is when I drink apple juice I turn in to the first thing I'm thinking about. You think I'm kidding? For instance the time I was in homeroom drinking apple juice and I turned in to a cat because the TV was on and they were advertising cat food. There was also the time I was playing Tomb Raider while I was drinking it, but I'd rather not go in to that... Anyway that's not the point the point is I guess I'm not very average. Fine I admit it, I might be smart, but I don't have much common sense. It wasn't until the 3rd time it happened, once it was over that is, I finally thought, 'maybe it's the apple juice.' Thankfully these events usually only happen for a few minutes. Maybe when I'm older I'll find out WHY it happens, once I work out a way to tell someone other than my 4 friends, without being worried they'll give me over to medical science.

In the mean time I'll have to either meditate when I drink apple juice, or maybe find a new favourite drink. Its weird, NORMAL apples don't do it, so I guess maybe I should eat them for the time being. Anyway this thing has given me a great idea for a videogame, maybe I could be a super hero or something. Well even if I cant be, it would still make a cool video-game.

Comments: I read the contest rules originally and was going to make him turn in to a chibi when he drinks apple juice, which I still think is cool. He makes a very cute chibi I think. Anyway yeah about the picture, this time it was done on paint shop pro(which I've finally got), I have added some shading to the clothes and hair, but I still haven't got the hang of doing it for skin, I'll try to next time. I think he looks okay though.Oh yeah second ever picture coloured on paint shop pro (my first was Gundamwing fan art so not contest pic). Also as always hand drawn, inked and scanned in.
