Name- Kumiko

Abilities- She can read peoples minds by looking at them, that's why her eyes are so bright.

Hi, I'm Kumiko. I chose that name for myself because it means braid, and seeing as I have one, (which is my pride and joy might I add) I thought it would suit me well. At school I used to be made fun of for it, when I was younger, not for the braid but for the fact my hair is blue.They don't anymore, some are even jealous of me for it.

Anyway back to my name, I chose it because when I came here,here being earth, Japan to be precise I was only about 7, I think, I didn't remember my name, or my family, or where I came from.

All I had with me was a little pendant that I later found out changes in to a big staff. I also found out, when I was about 12 that I can read peoples minds, it was purely by accident, but I try not to pry in peoples minds unless it is necessary. With my staff I can catch and store lightning, then use it on my opponents. It's also good for balance and I use it when I fight. I can also use my staff to create thunder and rain; basically I canreally brew up an incredible storm!

I love the rain, so sometimes I use it just so I can have a bit of fun. I love to sit on top of my apartment building, (its about 15 floors high) in the rain, I try to catch lightning while I'm up there to use later; it's the time I'm most at peace with myself. Another time I'm at peace with myself is when I do my fighting classes, I do 3 different types of martial arts, one of which is Judo. I also do kick boxing, but that's mainly to burn energy.

I admit I'm not very social, but I do have two close friends, they are the only ones who know who I am, well as far as I do. I don't even know if I'm human or what. I use my powers for small things at the moment,helping out secretly with normal crimes, I can read the criminals minds so I can find out information such as where their base is then find them or let the cops know. Its only practise, but I have had a few what I call tests. Some enemies who don't seem human that I've had to defeat, they haven't been that hard to get rid of though.

My powers are getting stronger all the time, and I'm sure I will discover new ones in the near future, but all I'm sure of right now is something's coming, and what ever it is will probably reveal to me a future I could never have predicted, one that may not only affect me, but the whole world as I know it. Its coming, I have to wait now, before I face my destiny...

Comments: I'd just liked to note this was drawn by hand, inked then scanned in as a line art. All the colouring is done on paint because i dont have paint shop pro, and probably couldnt use it even if i did. Just so you know she's sitting on a building- her apartment to be precise. Drawing super hero's isnt my strong point i need to admit, however my friends thought i should give it a go, and here's the result.
