Character's Story:
She was born a human, the daughter of Dr Kitami-the head scientist of
the secret organisation AIDA (artificial intelligence development agency)in
charge of creating the next generation of robots. Her mother Kitami Miana
was the person behind the programming of these new robots created to perform
risky tasks and not risking their lives to do so. Toki Toki was only 6 when
there was a terrorist attck on the AIDA headquarters. She was waiting in her
mother's office when there was an explosion which wiped out the office
suite. The computer system was damaged and half of the data was deleted.
Toki Toki was severely injured after this attack and permanent damage was
done to her left arm and face (which explains for the half face shield and
the bionicle arm). Dr Kitami, desparate to save his daughter's life, used
parts from his robots and fused them with Toki Toki's own body to create a
half human, half robot. As she wakes up in hospital she begins to have flash
backs from the attack-but she does not remember anything else!
Since the attack, staff at AIDA headquarters struggle to find the lost
data on their computers. During manufacture, each robot was embossed with 5
letters of digital code from the database so Toki Toki's task is to locate
all the robots which have been distributed to similar organisations like
AIDA all over the world. After collecting the digital codes from almost all
of the robots, she only has one more destination. Little does she know that
this last organisation were the people behinde the terrorist attack which
resulted in her becoming and android. This new enemy developed an interest
in the method used to save Toki Toki's life-the fusion between biological
and synthetic matter. Trapped in Neo New York, she meets distant relatives
but since her memory had been lost she is only able to convince herself that
they really are her family, but in reality is this true? Could they really
be her enemies in disguise?
Slowly, Toki Toki regains her memory but can she remember enough in
time to save herself being captured and used as a lab rat?
Comments: I know, the story is full of clichés. Ah well, this contest is a cool idea.
