Character's Story:
Toshiro stared at the small, frail creature for several minutes. It had landed on his hand to rest its tired wings. The butterfly trusted him completely, even after we wiggled his fingers. But why couldn't other people trust him? What had he done wrong? Alright, so he never really had any friends in school. But that was all over now. He could start his own life now. But he was a dreamer. What could a dreamer do in life? His only talent was he could get lost in his own mind. He sighed and the butterfly flapped its wings, but did not move. Toshiro's eyes started to burn from not blinking and he was getting light-headed from the heat. The butterfly now had blue spots circling around it, but everyone sees spots when they are dizzy. It was about time he went inside before he became sick.

Someone yelled his name so loudly it was if they were right behind him. His concentration shattered and he was so startled he almost crushed the poor butterfly. But he must have passed out; everything looked strange and he felt different. What had happened? He felt weightless. He was dreaming. He had...landed? on a piece of glass and he was a...butterfly? Here he was lost in his own mind over a butterfly. Toshiro was called to even louder before and the excitement of the moment made him fall back and he hit his head on the stone beneath him. But he was human. He must have become dizzy from the heat and fell backwards and hit his head. The butterfly just induced a dream. But what a strange dream! He looked around him and realized that he was not in the same place he had been sitting before. Some dream; right? What had happened?

"Great way to start off from school. Believing you need to live in an asylum..." he mumbled. It was just a dream...

Comments: I feel almost bad coloring the picture. I think it was meant to be just pencil and paper. Yes, I know the background is boring and the shading is almost non-existent, but I felt I had to treat this picture differently. I wanted to keep it simple. I drew it in early June and thought it might be good for this MOC. Ah well, I hope you like it, at least.
