Story:
Those frekin' scientists. They think they can just send me into the future without my permission. Just because I have wings they think that I am somehow different from all their other lab rats. I will never forgive them. Oh and by the way, my names Cho.
It all started one day in late June. I was hanging out with some of my geeky friends, playing the latest video games and planning what we would be doing over the summer when someone knocked on my door. I went to look who it was and I reconized the person as one of my dad's fellow scientists.
I led him inside we discussed his reason for being at my house. He said that he created a new device that could revolutionalize the world as we know it. He wanted me to go check it out. Since he didn't describe his invention to me I didn't know what to expect. We reached his lab and it was there that I saw it.
There sitting in front of me was a device set in front of a TV. I looked closer and realized it was a game console. I asked him what he was and he explained it was his new invention, the Enilemit. I thought it looked pretty cool and asked him what kinds of games he had for it. He said he only had one. I was eager to try it and quickly turned it on.
The game ran very smoothly and i enjoyed the graphics. Story took place in the future on a mmon of Jupiter. Civilation had moved out through space looking for another place to live, but it seemed almost all of space was uninhabitable except this one moon which was the only place able to support life at all.
I soon became engrossed with the game as the story started to take me in, literally. I was being sucked into the system slowly at first and before I could do anything about it i was completey sucked in.
My eyes began to hurt and so I looked away, but I wasn't in the lab anymore. In fact, it seemed I was outside, but nothing seemed familiar. Everythiong around me was red and looked primitive. There were some gross looking plants that I saw, but nothing really special. I didn't know what to do and started to walk around.
Being comepletely baffled, I wandered aimlessy like I usually do when thinking. Little did I know I soon entered a small establishment. I looked up and saw a completely new world. Nobody looked human. Everyone seemed to be half human half other animals. I stopped one lady and asked here what kind of species she was. She looked at me strangely and said she was a human that had spliced.
I determined everything was way to wierd and so I decided that I would just go with the flow. I found out where the nearest school was and registered. I've been going to this school for a while now, just stuck inside. I couldn't do anything.
Suddenly I had the feeling I was being watched. I looked outside noticing the scenery. It looked so familiar that I soon forgot about the feeling that I was feeling just a moment ago and almost had an idea, but it slipped away.
I left and saw something I knew looked familiar. It was a beast tht I had seen in the video game. I went up to it and drew a rapier out of nowhere and quickly disposed of it. Then another one came up behind me and cut me real bad. I got rid of this one too and went back inside the school. I felt the pain from my cut dissappear.
It took me a long time but I finally relized it. I became part of the game...what a bunch of crap. So now, this is how I live my life. No free will, just following the decisions of the owner of the game.
