Character's Story:
Bored. Laythie was always bored. Why? He had no friends, no family... no one. The day is July 8th, Laythie's 16th birthday. A day that would be special for any other kid his age, but not to him- He had no one to celebrate it with. It was on this day, in his 16th year of living, that we start our story.
Laythie awoke to the earsplitting squawks of birds outside, and the loud sound of rain splattering on the trees.
"Happy Birthday, Laythie. Make a wish." He mumbled to himself, and blew out imaginary candles. Stepping out from under the gigantuan banana tree, he stretched and looked around.
The rain forest was the same as ever- wet, loud, and vast. Picking up his pack from the ground, he shouldered it and took a step forward.
He was immediately drenched in water- obviously, it was raining. Hard. Shaking the water out of his bright red hair, he began walking down a path he had made the day before.
Now, one might wonder what a 16 year old boy was doing in the middle of a rain forest. The answer to that question is this- Laythie wasn't a normal boy. In fact, he wasn't even human. Laythie was a demon/angel hybrid, the only one of his kind... Or so he thought.
Within an hour, he had reached the edge of the rain forest. The rain had stopped, the clouds vanishing to reveal two bright orbs of light- one yellow, one orange, high in the sky. As he peered up at these two suns, he noticed something else- a small speck of white in the sky, falling down.... down... down...
"Oooof!" Laythie was bowled over by a fat white creature with a large red nose and feathered wings.
"What the-?"
The white creature jumped off of Laythie, and stared up at him, its tongue sticking out slightly.
"...Who are you?
It squealed, and jumped onto his shoulder. It grabbed his long, rabbit-like ears, and started to pull. "Ze plooshie me no tink eesh livink, no? Yeesh, no yeesh no, no? YEESH!"
"Hey!!! Get off of me you little marshmellow!" He grabbed it, and place it down in front of him. "What's the big idea, pulling on my ears?"
"OOOoooh! Zee plooshie, eet talks, no? Yeesh eet doos!" The little white creature nodded vigorously.
Laythie, getting annoyed, grabbed the creature by the pom pom attached to its head, and lifted it up so he could get a better look at it. "Who are you?" He had been about to say 'What' instead of who, but decided it best to be polite.
"Ooooh! Eet ashks Cerby a queeston, no? YEESH! Shall Cerby tell eet hees name? Yeesh, I tink so!" The little furball slipped out of Laythie's grasp, and flew onto his head. "Mesa eesh Cerberus, yeesh? YEESH!" It began cackling insanely.
Laythie grabbed Cerberus by his pompom again, and put him on the ground. "Well then, Cerberus, what are you doing here?"
"Ooooh! Whats was Cerby doink heer? Toof queestion, toof indeed! Doos Cerby know ze answer? YEESH! Cerby wush seent to find Leethee!
"Why were you sent to find me?"
"Beecoosh, ze mumsies tolds Cerby toos!"
o0; And they all lived in magic happy faerie land forever and ever, because it's 7 AM and I haven't even gone to bed yet. The End. =D
Comments: -cough- This was drawn, and the story written, at 7 AM, yet I hadn't even gone to sleep that night. -nods- I was eating Fruity Pebbles as I was writing the story, and I just decided to.. .erhm... kinda end it. But Cerberus is an interest character, ain't he? xD I think I'll write a whole story with Laythie and Cerby, but now I must get some sleep. Ja Ne!
