Story:
When they had first entered their relationship, Millie's parents had to forge a new life for themselves, away from friends and family, after society shunned them; effectively forcing an unofficial exile.
They eventually found themselves in a village called Eden, in close proximity to the city they had left, where they discovered others had also fled to escape persecution from their brethren. Once they had settled into Eden for a good year, Millie was born; only the fourth child to have been delivered.
When she was five years old, Millie, along with the first three children, went exploring and happened across an ancient tree which bestowed "gifts" upon them. Vashir, the eldest, was blessed with intelligence; Sarifya, the second, was bestowed with White Magic; Julian, the third, found himself with strength; and Millie dicovered her gift of Black Magic.
The other three children grew into their new talents quickly and were able to use them to the benefit of Eden. Because of her immaturity, Millie became a walking disaster area, never knowing what misfortune whe would cause next; even when she was practising hard on controlling her powers.
The prescence of a wooden staff has tempered her waywardness, but only by a fraction...
