Character's Story:
There are 2 different dimensions that exist in this world. The reality dimension and the dream dimension. Although humans can only cross to the other dimension in their sleep, there are other inhabitants in the dream dimension. They are Dream Elves. Mystical elfin beings that often aid good dreams. They're usually quite content with their lives, but Mareo has always found that their was always something missing, but he couldn't pinpoint what. Until one fateful day...

"Finally, done this report, now I can get some sleep!" Maria said excitedly. She had stayed up until 12:00 finishing a report about rainforests for class and was quite sleepy. She laid he head on her fluffy pillow, and soon fell asleep.

Mareo was enjoying his lunch in a clearing of a forest at the time and he was just packing up to go home when he saw something that would change his life completely. It was a girl. A human girl. A pretty human girl with light blonde hair and light blue eyes. She turned to him and smiled.

This human was Maria. She had seen dream elves in her dreams before, but this one was different. This one was... handsome. They just stood and looked at each other for close to a whole minute. Then they both took a step forward and both attempted to speak, but nothing came over. Then the thought came to both of their heads. They were in... love.

They went over to each other and kissed. It was pure bliss, and at that moment they knew, that it was fate that brought them together. They were meant for each other.

Afterwards they took a walk in the woods, and talked to each other about whatever came to their minds. But good things can't last forever.

"It won't be much longer until you wake up, how saddened I will be to see you leave, but there is always tomorrow." Mareo said.

"Farewell Mareo, until moon hits the sky of the reality dimension again!" Maria replied as she was fading away and re-entering the reality dimension.

Every night Maria and Mareo met, and they were happy together. This would have lasted forever but a terrible incident happened that would change their lives forever...

They had been meeting each other for 5 years now. It was spring, the first day where there wasn't a speck of snow on the ground. Maria looked out her window and smiled. "It looks like it will be a beautiful day today! Nothing could possibly go wrong!" She shall never know how wrong she was.

She walked through the muddy streets, not caring she was getting her new shoes muddy. It was the first day of spring, and she was almost as happy as when she had first met Mareo. She wasn't paying attention when she was crossing the street and a car struck her and killed her. She lay lifeless, never to laugh, cry, feel emotions again.

Mareo waited for her at the clearing. She never came. She never came the next day, nor the day after that. A week passed and Mareo had finally come to realize that he will never see Maria again.
