Story: *Interview between Theo (the dark horse in the picture) and Tazzy*

Ta: Well, would you like to explain why you're here? Give any excuses?"

Th: Awwww c'mon you must have read the thousands of other tabloids! .......... 'The Daily Hoofs ' was the most concise " 'Our hero goes crazy and attacks Innocent' I'm a murderer, a no- goodnick! I'm dangerous!

Ta: But that's not the whole story...is it?

Th: Well for a start, that 'innocent' was'nt nearly innocent.

Ta: Yes, it does seem odd that you....our greatest warrior, would do anything so irrational, and unplanned? On the battlefield you're always so cold and calculating.

Th: You're painting the wrong picture! His death, excuse me, murder was not a vicious random attack but neither was it a cold blooded murder! The battlefield and life are two very different things. You are called into battle by a man most of us will never meet, to kill some poor slob who is only doing his job, trying to kill you. It is not a personal vendetta out there.

Ta: Personal?

Th: Damn, fine! I'm screwed anyway, a jury of my peers has already found me guilty...and if it wasnt for that artist sitting there drawing the scene i might have got away with it. some weird girl...looked kinda like you...

Ta: *cough, yes well uhmmm, enough sidestepping! why did you really kill Dimitri? is it cause it looked like he was going to steal youre job? youre title of high ranking officer?

Th: My job, my title, my land, my wife, HE WAS TRYING TO STEAL MY LIFE!!!

Ta: *quietly* what happened out there?

Th: i knew Dimitri when he was just a scivvy in the army, shining horse shoes, he was small and quiet but something in him told me he was going to be great. He had this way about him, he was always two steps ahead, he wasnt brash and wouldnt jump into fights unnecassarly he seemed clever. hahaha, i should have seen him as a threat! right there and then i should have blocked his way to climbing the ranks. But it was a difficult situation, the green army was right on our tails! i needed someone cunning.
i took him under my wing he diddnt have a family, so i took him into my house...i guess he must have liked it, next thing i know 9 months later my wife has a kid and this thing was platinum blonde! it all came out, theyd been having an affair of , ugh, "true love" behind my back! i was carried away with work and not home alot, it was easy for them. work was getting harder! i was holding off the green army...i..i must have missed something and they gained the advantage. they took the bridges at nannoek and sley. i got a letter from the grand captain, instructing that perhaps it would be best if i stood down, and put dimitri in my place. *theo is gently crying*

Th: my kids dont know me anymore, i had no life to go back to, no work to throw myself into *sniffle* and...god help me i liked him! *theo pulls his chains onto his knee, rests his head in his hands and cries, he repeats over and over*

Th: im sorry Dimitri, im so sorry, im sorry"
