Story:
Millie lives in a small village, near the forest. She doesn't know much of the world, so in her perspective the world is just the Village and the Forest.
When she was born, a small table next to her mother's bed caught fire just when she started to cry. She had unusual powers, which she seldom could control. The villagers soon discovered that life with such a child would pose certain problems...
While they hadn't the energy to form a mob and let matters take their course, they forced Millie and her mother to live outside of the village, away from the woods, in a kind of protective isolation. Protective for the village, that is.
Still, fires continue to start unexplicably in Millie's vicinity, whenever she is upset, or excited. However she has a kind of immunity to burning, which saved her life many times.
Her life is far from happy or ordinary. The future, though, shows some promise, as she's starting to show some degree of control over her powers, especially when she thinks of certain shapes or words.
Her father remains unknown.
