Story: Leha shares a life many dread, orphened as a child in result of a terable war. She was left behind with no one to care for her. Untill one day a merchant ship found the diserted city. yet this city was strange to them. they saw the bodies that littered the ground none where human. they all where human in struchre yet they where more eligent, taller and paler. the one major difference of the two were the ears. while human ears are small and round. theres where long pointed and narrow. the merchants heard the screams from the child and ran to its aid. they looked at it and discused it among them selves. they decided to take her abord and that when she was of proper age she could work as there captive.
16 years had past sence Leha was picked up. it was a bright and breezy moringing somewhere over the ocean. Leha steped on deck looked in to the sun rise then perched her self up on the ledge. she sat there and thought on her past. how they made her clean, and cook then how they found that she was an acclompished fighter and theif. she was now a part of paid staff, and a water lover. one thing she wanted was true freedom, shure she was paid but never could she leave. Leha looked in to the distinace, there was nothing but open sea and the sky. this reminded her daily of the freedom she so wanted. every day she would do this and every day she would say to her self "Chase that horizon captin, for that is where my freedom lies"
Comments: I was lucky enough to take a six week trip to Japan this summer and was inspired to draw this pic there.
