Story:
Hi! I am Saiko Omoi, I am 16 years old & this is my story about the city I lived in, when it got bombed in a nuclear war...
First, there was a big BANG! then, I fell to the ground & I saw this sort of flash, it was bright, very bright.
I must've fell unconscious, because I woke up probably hours later. I saw people everywhere, just lying there, then, the lifeless bodies got up, very slowly. I recognized some of them, there was my mum, & dad, my brother, & my sister, I also saw many of my friends. I started to talk, but no one listened, they just walked towards me, staring at me, doing nothing, except walking, walking...
Then they started chanting something, I couldn't hear what they were saying, but I heard one word, kill.
Then they ran, right at me! I saw each of them take out a knife each, & aim it at me. I started telling them that we could survive, even though our homes & possessions had been ruined, but they wouldn't listen, so I ran, I ran as fast as my body would go, then, after about 30 minutes of running, I turned around & I realized I had lost them.
I went up a hill which overlooked my city, & I sat there & cried, I cried because I had lost everything, my family, my friends, my possessions, everything...the only thing I had left was me, myself. I knew I had to survive, otherwise no one would ever know what happened to the city I lived in, my home...
