"Miyuki, Spirit of Sorrow"

Character's Story:
There was once a man who had three daughters, Suzuki, Kanna, and Miyuki.The eldest was Suzuki, and the youngest was Miyuki. Marridge was not a problem for the two older daughtes, for Kanna was far more beautiful than the two and Suzuki was a hard worker. Easily they found suitors. Miyuki, unlike the two elder sisters, was scrawny and had bad health. No man wanted her as his wife.

As years past by Kanna and Suzuki were married and began families,but Miyuki remained untouched. One day, out of the house for once, Miyuki wandered through the village until she came to a small cherry tree, she sat under this tree and set up the small picnic she packed herself. An old man appeared and sat beside her, 'What is a beautiful girl such as you alone under a cherry tree?' he asked. She told her story to him and he nodded in reply.

The old man then replied, 'If you are lonely, than come back in 5 moons and sit under this tree, my grandson shall come, if you are here he shall marry you and take you to his village.' Miyuki became over joyed at these words and ate with the old man and returned home swiftly, telling her two sisters. Kanna smiled and felt happy for the younger sister, but something was strange of Suzuki. She seemed to glare at Miyuki, as if jealous.

As days passed by Miyuki awaited the arrival of this man. On the day before, Miyuki dressed up in a beautiful kimono and went to the cherry tree, Suzuki lurked twords her sister as night approached and slaughtered her with her husbands sword, cursing at her sister for she knew not the pain and abuse of her husband.

When the man came to meet Miyuki she was no where to be seen. Yet a spirit sat among thhe branches of the cherry blossom tree callin out, yet never once being heard. As Miyuki's Spirit fled from this world it was named Heartache for all the pain of love she experienced and went to heaven. There she dances in fields of grass and stares at the sky, waiting day after day for that man to come for her, knowing he will never come...
