Story:
One look back showed Shadyn all he needed to know. The world was at his mercy. But again, he had a choice. Shadyn could leave the world to its impending doom, or be a savior of some kind.

It wasn't like he was at risk. He could run, and leave the danger. He was immortal anyway, so he'd live after all of this.

All his life- centuries- Shadyn had made a point to not associate with the humans. "They'll get you into trouble," his father, a demon, had said once "Look. I did, and I'm left with you..."

But starting around 50 years ago, Shadyn started observing the humans. They were doing normal things; chores, work. How could they possibly be so bad?

Around that time humans started finding out about demons as well. As humans usually do, they were reluctant to change; to accept the demons as honorable figures of society. So, they banished them. BIG mistake.

First come the riots, then come the murders. And then this...the burning of cities. And Shadyn had done nothing but watch.

He now had a magnificent decision to make...save the humans, or leave them to burn at the hands of the demons.

Shadyn walked away from the burning town. He'd have to sleep on it.

Comments: Done in Photoshop CS. Not quite sure WHY I made him blonde, it just ended up that way. And sorry if he's so "human" looking! ^.^
